Auto-disturbance-rejection Technique on Variable Pitch Control System of Wind Turbines

This paper mainly studied pitch control system of wind turbine. Firstly, it introduced the development of wind power at home and abroad, the operating principles of wind turbines, and constructed the models of a large-scale variable pitch variable speed wind turbine based on those principals and design a PID controller. Then it focused on the variable blade pitch control in the case of high wind speed. In this thesis, a new pitch controller based on the control theory of active disturbance rejection is developed to substantially upgrade the power-output quality of wind turbines.
