According to common current quality problems, a controllable current quality disturbance generator is proposed used to simulate load current characteristics. Analysis the main topology of the generator, and calculate the relevant parameters of the generator. Proposing multi-objective control strategy, it can effectively simulate the harmonic currents, the current fluctuations, three-phase unbalanced loads and power factor. Basing on functional requirements, build a simulation model on the platform of PSCAD/EMTDC. The results show that the main circuit topology and control strategies are feasible and effective. The monitoring system of the generator uses a powerful software programming-Labview, achieved the main contents such as debugging, project experiments etc. Control part is based on DSP+ FPGA consisting of all-digital controller, FPGA completes the major control functions. Finally, establish a 400V/100kVA prototype and test the function of harmonic currents, current fluctuations and unbalance loads and so on.
